Maps
Here is a link to a
map of the campus that lights up locations when you click on the
name of a building. The Mathematical Sciences Department is located in
the Business and Economics Building (also called the Bryan School or
B&E). We are on the third floor (up one flight of stairs when entering
from the front; two flights when entering from the side or back). There
is a picture of the building on the main conference page.

at Greensboro (Business-I-85 is the right hand ramp exit that loops back
over I-85 before heading into Greeesnboro). Take Business-I-85 to Holden
Road exit, take Holden road towards Greensboro (i.e., go back over I-85)
continue on Holden several miles (you will cross High Point Road, a
major intersection) to Spring Garden Street. Take right on Spring Garden
to the University entrance. Go three blocks to Stirling Street, then
turn right onto Stirling. You have reached Bryan Building, a large 4
story, brownish-yellow brick building set at an angle to Spring Garden
Street (see picture of Bryan Building).
There is a Parking Deck, called the
Walker Avenue Parking
Deck one block down Stirling, across Theta Street from Bryan
Building that allows parking ($5.00 maximumn daily rate) when not full.
Elliott University Center is directly across Stirling Steet from the
parking garage.
Driving Directions to the UNCG Department
of Mathematics and Statistics from Raleigh-Durham.
From Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill, go south on I-85 or I-40 towards
Greensboro (and Charlotte).
Shortly south of Durham and Chapel Hill, I-85 and I-40 join and run
as one road until I-40 and Business-I-85 split off. I-85 goes towards
Charlotte, I-40 goes towards Winston-Salem, and Bus I-85 goes into
Greensboro. On Business-I-85, after about 30 miles from the point where
I-85 and I-40 join, take Exit 128 E. Lee Street (Greensboro). This exit
has a sign pointing to several colleges, including the University of
North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).
Stay on Lee Street, 3 miles to S. Elm Street, over railroad tracks,
and S. Eugene Street. STAY on Lee Street for one more mile, and you
reach Tate Street. Turn (right is only possibility) onto Tate Street, go
under railroad over-pass to first intersection. Turn left onto Spring
Garden Street; you are now on the campus. Go three blocks to Stirling
Street. Turn right onto Stirling. You have reached Bryan Building, a
large 4 story, brownish-yellow brick building set at an angle to Spring
Garden Street.
If you miss the turn at Tate Street, continue 1/2 mile on Lee Street
to Aycock Street (if you see the Coliseum, you went too far). Turn right
onto Aycock Street. On Aycock Street, go under train tracks (under-pass)
to traffic light at Spring Garden Street. Turn right onto Spring Garden
Street. You are now on the UNCG campus. Go three blocks to Stirling
Street and turn left. The School of Business and Economics: a large 4
story, brownish-yellow brick building set at an angle to Spring Garden
